Full, 23-minute 911 call by Sandra Herold, pleading for police to "hurry" to save her friend, Charla Nash, from an attack by Herold's 200-pound pet chimpanzee. This disturbing and emotional 911 recording was released on Feb 17, 2009 by Stamford, Connecticut police.

"He's ripping her apart," Herold, 70, tells dispatchers about her pet, Travis. With the chimp squealing in the background, Herold cries out, "He's killing my friend!"

Nash, 55, who was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after the chimp, once featured in television commercials for Coca-Cola and Old Navy, attacked her on Monday 2/16/09.

"Have them shoot him…I tried stabbing him, but it made it worse," Herold said. "Please tell (the police) to shoot him!"
