A home-grown music video “Apple Store Love Song”, performed by FAttY SPiNS, caught my eye today. It’s been watched over 3MM times since originally going live on YouTube in September 2009, but it’s viral success seems to picking up recently.

FAttY SPiNS sings he “…Fell In Love at the Apple Store”. The object of his affection: not a beautiful young lady, rather an iPod (and various other Apple products). Here it is:

Woman Arrested for April Fools’ Prank Call

A California mother is behind bars after she allegedly made a prank call on April Fools’ Day in which she said she and her baby had been kidnapped and thrown in the back of a pickup truck.

Marlina Flores, 24, of Apple Valley, CA was arrested for felony child endangerment and felony vandalism.

Lindsay Lohan’s Frantic 911 Call From Rehab

A 911 call placed on December 12, 2010 by Dawn Holland, a staffer at the Betty Ford Center, who was fighting with Lindsay Lohan was released Friday, three days after prosecutors announced the actress would not be charged with misdemeanor battery due to insufficient evidence.

Both Holland and Lohan are audible on the call in which Holland states Lohan and two other patients were caught trying to leave the premises after curfew. According to Holland, the three showed signs of alcohol consumption. When asked to perform breathalyzer tests, Lohan refused and became violent while the other two patients complied.

“I have a problem because Lindsay Lohan pushed me and hit me with a phone while I was trying to talk to you,” Holland, a Chemical Dependency Technician, is heard saying on the call.

“I am sorry…I’m really uncomfortable with the woman that is in our house. I’ve never seen her before and she’s freaking me out,” Lohan said during the recorded call.

Karaoke at Gaslite in Santa Monica

A Saturday night birthday party in Santa Monica at The Gaslite, which is “world-famous” for its karaoke, reminded me of a prank from the Funny or Die guys played on unsuspecting patrons.

They disguised Jewel as a plain-looking woman, “Karen”, who was in town for a conference. Needless to say, “Karen” stunned the crowd with her performance. Enjoy the video, below:
