A home-grown music video “Apple Store Love Song”, performed by FAttY SPiNS, caught my eye today. It’s been watched over 3MM times since originally going live on YouTube in September 2009, but it’s viral success seems to picking up recently.
Demand Media CEO Richard Rosenblatt took issue with TechCrunch’s coverage by Michael Arrington about Rosenblatt’s $40MM yacht called The AdSense.
The voice mail is here and TechCrunch story is here.
P.S. It’s an advance April Fool’s prank!
Coverage from BusinessInsider on a hilarious new iPhone app called “Last Night Never Happened”, which aims to “erase” all the stupid things you wrote on Facebook and Twitter the night before when you tied one on.
Charlie Sheen called into Howard Stern’s show on SiriusXM Radio on Tuesday, March 1, and spent 45 minutes with “The King of All Media”, regaling Stern with stories about his dispute with CBS, living with his two girlfriends, aka “the goddesses”, and, of course, his #tigerblood.
I watched a movie last night that made me wish to make an addition to an earlier post to this blog. In that post I talked about the worst accents on the big screen and, take it from me, there is a definite contender in the move New in Town.
All that read this blog know that I am a major fan of the Google services, including Google Voice, but that does not mean that I am above making fun of the service’s weaknesses from time to time. This is one of those times. The other day, I was standing in the middle of my mother’s kitchen. When you go see a comedian live, you never know if someone from the crowd is going to chime in and try to steal the guy’s thunder. And no one’s immune. Not even the most famous comedians. Here are a few funny men and how they handle the wild cards in the crowd.

Let me begin this entry by telling you that my husband and I recently switched from Blockbuster movies through the mail to Netflix, and we love it. It is not for the movies or even the old television series that we have come to enjoy this service. Instead, it is the comedians that we choose to watch- stand-up to lighten the mood.
With the rise of YouTube, American Idol, and an American Idol spin-off in every country, nearly everyone in the world thinks they’ve got the ability to sing. Some people post their vids online hoping to show off their talents but only meet ridicule. Some people have the guts to go on television to place their hearts and souls on display, but they too get ridiculed. Why do these individuals continue to embarrass themselves? I guess they just love providing the [...]
